07/18/2016: Successful SpaceX Falcon 9 Rocket Launch & First Stage Recovery

Early this morning, a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket successfully blasted off from Cape Canaveral, Florida, carrying nearly 5,000 pounds of cargo to the International Space Station.

This mission will bring food, supplies, and science experiments to the station. Additionally, a critical piece of cargo known as an international docking adapter, or IDA is on board. This will be attached to the outside of the station, allowing future spacecraft to automatically dock with the ISS.

Religious Fundamentalist Ken Ham Battles US Constitution on Twitter

Ken_Ham_speakingThis morning, Ken Ham, of Answers in Genesis, took to Twitter to release a barrage of tweets insisting that public schools have the right to plan and execute school trips to his newly-opened Ark Encounter biblical theme park which teaches, among other things, that the Earth is no older than 6,000 years and that evolution is false.
